Standard travel & per diem

Effective 2026-07-31 · USD

When consulting requires travel, invoices include (1) standard travel charges — IRS-aligned mileage, lodging and carrier at cost with receipts, parking/tolls — and (2) a full-day per diem based on a standard meals-and-incidentals figure, then a premium profit margin applied on that per diem base. Premium margin does not inflate mileage or hotel pass-throughs.

Lodging (standard travel)Pass-through

Standard per diem base (M&IE)$59.00/day

Billable per diem (standard + premium)$79.65/day

Example — one day on site, 200 mi round trip

Mileage $140.00 + billable per diem $79.65 = $219.65 travel/per diem (labor separate).

1. Purpose

Two product lanes. Lane 1: simple subscriber email on @tri-countyhempresources.com, @hempdaddy.land, or @hyphaops.com — from $19/month with workspace plans. Lane 2: website consulting (site without a mail server), then one address on our mail server — more users pay for more addresses.

The same email rules and restrictions apply to Lane 1 and Lane 2: Email Service User Agreement, acceptable use, no spam, age requirements, opt-in correspondence policy, and mailbox suspension for abuse. Product lanes differ; mail policy does not.

2. What's included

Included with paid production or entity workspace plans

  • Primary mailbox: [email protected] (5 GB)
  • Webmail: webmail.tri-countyhempresources.com (login = primary address)
  • IMAP :993 (SSL/TLS) and SMTP :587 (STARTTLS) on mail.tri-countyhempresources.com
  • Spam and malware filtering
  • DKIM-signed outbound delivery
  • Extra [email protected] — subscribe from Account → Business mailbox ($4.99/mo)
  • Lane 1 subscriber email: @tri-countyhempresources.com, @hempdaddy.land, @hyphaops.com
  • Lane 2: website consulting, then one custom-domain address; pay for more users (head limit 10)
  • Not included with HyphaOps Geometry or Vision desk add-ons alone
  • Optional Farm Weather digests at your portal login email (opt-in)

Webmail: webmail.tri-countyhempresources.com · Host: mail.tri-countyhempresources.com

Webmail (SnappyMail): browser spell check, draft auto-save, and conversation threads. Login = primary address. Tips

3. Two product lanes

Two different products. Lane 1: simple subscriber email on our domains. Lane 2: website consulting (site without a mail server), then one custom-domain address on our mail server — extra users pay for extra addresses (head limit). Same email rules both lanes.

The same email rules and restrictions apply to Lane 1 and Lane 2: Email Service User Agreement, acceptable use, no spam, age requirements, opt-in correspondence policy, and mailbox suspension for abuse. Product lanes differ; mail policy does not.

Lane 1 · Subscriber email

Simple business email. Choose a domain we already host. Subscribe, get a mailbox. No website project. No mail server for you to run.

Lane 1. Pick a domain. We host the mailbox.

Extra full mailbox (Lane 1): $4.99/mo · Account → Business mailbox

Webmail (SnappyMail)

Webmail (SnappyMail): browser spell check, draft auto-save, and conversation threads. Login = primary address.

  • Spell check: Compose underlines misspellings via browser spell check. Enable spell check in browser settings if needed. Editor spellcheck is enabled on the server when available.
  • Draft auto-save: Drafts save while you write. Check Drafts if a tab closes before send.
  • Threads: Related messages can group as conversation threads in the list.
  • Login: Use your primary @tri-countyhempresources.com address — not a brand alias alone.
  • Same rules both lanes: Acceptable use and the Email Service User Agreement apply to every mailbox on our server (Lane 1 and Lane 2).

webmail.tri-countyhempresources.com

Lane 2 · Website consulting + mailboxes on our server

Different product. We build (or stand up) your website under consulting — the site does not run a mail server. You own the domain. After cutover you get one email address on our mail server ($14.99/mo). More people on the domain? Each extra address is paid. Head limit keeps support simple.

  1. Website work under consulting (site without a mail server).
  2. You keep the domain at your registrar.
  3. Mail cutover: DNS points mail at our mail server.
  4. One address: $14.99/mo email host. Extra addresses: $4.99/mo each (multiple users).
  5. Head limit: up to 10 mailboxes per custom domain without a custom quote.

Consulting $2,200 (10 hours included) · $125/hour overage · first address $14.99/mo · extra address $4.99/mo · max 10/domain · published rates

One address after cutover; more users on the domain pay for more addresses. Not unlimited domain-wide free mail. Same rules as Lane 1 once on our server.

Scope of work

Included

  • Website work under consulting scope (site without a mail server).
  • Provision one primary address on our mail server after paid cutover scope is clear.
  • Additional addresses for other users on the same domain (paid; head limit applies).
  • MX / SPF / DKIM / DMARC so mail points at our host.
  • Written scope and engagement end date.

Not included

  • Unlimited free addresses for everyone at the domain.
  • Treat this as a free add-on to subscriber email.
  • Run a mail server on the website we build for you.
  • Free endless DNS archaeology.
  • Owning your domain registration by default.
  • Zero-downtime promise on messy legacies.
  • Self-serve cutover without consulting and checklist.
  • Full mailbox archive migration unless quoted.
  • More than the head limit without a custom quote.
Domain readiness checklist (Lane 2 mail cutover)

Lane 2 only. Incomplete readiness: use Lane 1 subscriber email, or request a higher quote for DNS archaeology.

  1. 1. Domain registered and not expired — yourfarm.com current for at least 30 days.
  2. 2. You control registrar login — One person can change DNS at GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.
  3. 3. You know where DNS is edited — Can add/edit MX and TXT for this domain.
  4. 4. One decision-maker for cutover — Authorizes go-live; answers within one business day during engagement.
  5. 5. Current mail method written down — Who hosts mail now; every address in use and whether it still matters.
  6. 6. Accept temporary mail disruption — Plan a maintenance window; no zero-downtime promise on messy legacies.
  7. 7. Plan for old mail you care about — Export/archive yourself, or hire migration separately.
  8. 8. No mystery third party sole DNS control — Designer/SEO/IT either yields control or joins the call on your timeline.
  9. 9. Portal / mail subscription path clear — Consulting alone does not leave unpaid mail on our server.
  10. 10. Accept written scope and hourly overrun — Out-of-scope work bills at overage; engagement ends unless extended in writing.

Incomplete checklist: stay on Lane 1 subscriber email, or a higher archaeology quote. Lane 2 mail cutover does not start until readiness is complete.

4. Site digests (optional)

All site correspondence is opt-in unless it is site maintenance or a societal emergency.

This is separate from your business mailbox. Digests go to the email on your portal account when you opt in at registration or Account settings.

Needs your opt-in

  • Farm Weather digests and other optional operational mail
  • Marketing, newsletters, and non-essential announcements (if offered)

May send without opt-in

  • Site maintenanceSecurity alerts, password reset, verification codes, billing receipts for purchases you made, access or quota warnings, planned outages that affect your use of the site.
  • Societal emergencyRare, time-sensitive notices about imminent public-safety or civil-scale emergencies that reasonably require contacting platform users — not marketing and not routine weather digests.
  • Farm Weather daily checks

Optional. Twice-daily weather note at your account email (midnight and noon Chicago). Off by default — check the box at registration or Account settings to receive.

    Weather dashboard →
  • Public severe-weather alerts

Optional. Email when NWS posts a severe or extreme active warning for the farm area. One email per distinct alert id — no re-blast of the same event. Separate consent from Farm Weather digests.

    Weather dashboard →

5. Rules of the road

The same email rules and restrictions apply to Lane 1 and Lane 2: Email Service User Agreement, acceptable use, no spam, age requirements, opt-in correspondence policy, and mailbox suspension for abuse. Product lanes differ; mail policy does not.

Age (18+)

18+ required at registration (date of birth + attestation). Paid mailbox bundles require Stripe credit or debit card checkout for additional age verification.

  • We validate date of birth server-side when you create an account. Under-18 registrations are rejected.
  • Business mailboxes bundled with portal subscriptions are provisioned only after paid checkout — Stripe processes your card; we do not store raw card numbers.
  • Hemp compliance workspaces may require 21+ under our Terms.

Prohibited uses

  • Spam or purchased mailing lists
  • Phishing, malware, or fraud
  • Harassment or illegal content
  • Reselling mailbox access
